Star Plus' new show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali which is being shot in Kolhapur had to stall shoot on Wednesday after few actors and crew members tested positive for COVID-19. After which tests were performed on the rest of the team present there and also on the lead actors Shivangi Khedkar and Sai Ketan Rao who are playing Pallavi Deshmukh and Ragahv Rao on the show.
Now, a reliable source tells SpotboyE.com that fortunately the lead actors of the show had no symptoms and their test results have also come negative after which makers have decided to resume the shoot after a two days shutdown. In fact they are already shooting on the set today. Whereas the affected members have been sent for a self quarantine and get back on the set after they recover from it and follow the KMC guidelines. Meanwhile, "The Producer of the show, Sandiip Sikcand, had released an official statement that read, “Few artists and crew members who are a part of the TV show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali have tested positive for COVID-19 and are asymptomatic. All of them have received medical help/attention and are under quarantine. The Kolhapur Municipal Corporation (KMC) is informed and the sets have been fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol. We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. It's a well known fact that COVID-19 cases are on the rise in Maharashtra. Recently, Gauahar Khan tested positive for the virus and as per reports she shot for her film while neglecting the guidelines. Also FWICE has now banned the actress for 60 days.
