Naagin Season 2 will start shooting for the show in coming few weeks. While the entire cast remains same, only Arjun Bijlani, who played Shivanya’s husband, won’t be a part of the second season.
Mouni Roy will be seen in double role playing Shivanya and her daughter’s part. The show, will however not replace Ekta’s other weekend show Kavach starring Vivek Dahiya and Mona Singh. The show has reportedly got an extension of 14 episodes and timings of both show has been changed. Naagin 2 will return at its primetime slot of 8 pm to 9 pm, Kawach will be shifted to 7 pm to 8 pm slot.
While initially Kavach got off to a great start beating the ratings of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, the show dipped down to 14th position in the first week of September. (Saath Nibhaana Saathiya Soars, But Brahmarakshas Slips, September 1)
