Naagin 5: Dheeraj Dhoopar On The Supernatural Show Being TROLLED: ‘People Used To Troll Sasural Simar Ka Also, Doesn't Matter To Me’
Actor Dheeraj Dhoopar opens up on his recent venture Naagin 5 being trolled and how he handles it
Celebs being trolled online has become a day-to-day thing now. Sometimes they are targeted for their performances on the show or sometimes its just a random post on the social media platform that invites trolls. Koimoi.com in a conversation with Naagin 5 actor Dheeraj Dhoopar spoke about this online trolling. The actor was asked about his reaction to the online trolling for the ongoing Naagin 5, which is popular among the audience, and he mentioned not reacting to it. According to him, with India being a vast country, every show has its set of audience who adores it.
Naagin 5 was trolled for a photoshopped image which was circulated on the internet. The actor said, “I don’t react to these things much. As you said Naagin is such a big show and it’s a hit. That means people are loving and accepting it. Our country is very vast and the audience is very big. The best thing in our country is there is a different audience for different kind of shows.” Also speaking about the difference between his shows Kundali Bhagya and Naagin 5, he stated both the shows are poles apart but the audience has accepted it as well as adored him for his performance.
He adds, “I am doing Kundali Bhagya which is such a realistic show and people are accepting it. The other show I’m was doing is Naagin 5, which is a supernatural drama. People still accepted me and loved me.”
Recalling about the times when his show, Sasural Simar Ka was trolled, he shared despite all the trolling, the show ranked number 1 on the small screen platform. He said, “When it comes to trolling, I did a show called Sasural Simar Ka. People used to troll it also. Further, he shared that even though they have also laughed at the script, but they fulfilled their duties as actors with full dedication, “We also laugh on the script, but between action and cut, we are the very serious actors. It is a good thing as an actor who does a supernatural show. It helps in brushing up your skills. It helps in enhancing your imagination and perform accordingly.”
Dheeraj Dhoopar mentioned after his show Sasural Simar Ka was massively trolled, all this trolling doesn’t matter to him now.
