The actress said, "Since childhood, I used to wake up early during Puja and the morning used to be very special on this day. There used to be a beautiful Durga Puja mandap near my house and we friends used to help arrange things for the priest. Durga Mantras used to be chanted. I would enjoy it a lot. It’s like a ritual for us every year. A few things are beautiful in their own way and I prefer not to alter those things." The former Biggboss 13 contestant also reveals about missing Durga Puja food, "The most attractive attention of pujo is the bhog. Which is the famous Khichudri, Payash and a popular sweet Sondesh. I'll be missing all of it this time. My family is in Assam, so I'm not hosting a puja lunch this year for my friends. I'm shooting too so I will just visit Durga temple this year to offer my prayers."

She remembers playing Goddess act. She recalls, "We celebrate Durga Puja with great flair, Maha Ashtami sees the worship of the Chamunda incarnation of Goddess Shakti. It is believed that during Goddess Durga’s epic battle with Mahishasur, the goddess had killed demons Chanda, Munda, and Raktabija on Ashtami. I'm glad to have performed the epic tale narration on the popular Aigiri Nandini Song by Rajalakshmee Sanjay."
