Netizens Get JUSTICE OVER CELEB PRIVILEGE Trending On Twitter As They Slam TV Celebs For Supporting Pearl V Puri In The Rape Case
TV actor Pearl V Puri was sent to 14-days of judicial custody on June 4 after a rape case was filed against him under POCSO Act. As soon as the news hit the headlines, TV celebs were seen standing in strong support for the actor, claiming that he won’t commit such an act. This followed by an audio clip of Ekta Kapoor’s conversation with the victim’s mother, who too claimed the actor being innocent was leaked. Now netizens have slammed the actors for supporting Pearl V Puri as they feel the celebs are influencing the judiciary system. Twitter saw JUSTICE OVER CELEB PRIVILEGE trending.  

A few netizens were also seen demanding arrest for Ekta Kapoor and actress Karishma Tanna for supporting the actor. The user's tweet read, "Put Ekta Kapoor and Karishma Tanna behind the bars One is using her power to influence the case and the other is using her power in leaking the details of the victim Both are SHAMELESS JUSTICE OVER CELEB PRIVILEGE (sic)." While another user was seen slamming celebs for penning down things about the victim, the users’ tweet read, "Just wondering who are supporting an accused blindly and commenting barbaric things to people who want the truth to come out Neend ajaati hai kya tum logo ko raat ko? JUSTICE OVER CELEB PRIVILEGE (sic),"
