Television actor Aditi Malik and her husband Mohit Malik welcomed their baby boy Ekbir in April this year. The two have been over the moon since then, and have been sharing some lovely pictures, giving fans cute little glimpses of their newborn son. Aditi has also been sharing about her motherhood journey, and has been sharing posts on ‘Motherhood Diaries’ on Instagram. In a recent post, she penned a note about ‘Breast Feeding Vs Formula’ and shared her own experience. Her post helped a fan who was going into postpartum depression, and Aditi was thrilled to have made a difference.
In her post, Aditi Malik wrote about people asking her about Breast Feeding Vs Formula, and which is the right way. She wrote that they should go with their instinct, and not follow what others tell them to do. She wrote that she felt her son wasn’t fulfilling his needs with just breast milk, so she has also chosen supplementing. She further added that a lot of women go through postpartum depression, but with the right support system, motherhood can be a beautiful journey. Her post inspired a fan who shared that his wife, who was slipping into postpartum depression, felt much better after seeing Aditi’s post.
The fan wrote, “Thanks ma'am for sharing a post related to formula vs breast milk. My wife is following you and a great fan of yours. She was getting the postpartum depression and after your post today I can see that she is really happy today.” Aditi was ecstatic and she replied, “This is what makes my day! I am glad from one mother to another that we could make a difference! Smile through this phase, its the most beautiful.”
Another new mom opened up about suffering from postpartum depression and that she felt guilty for giving formula milk to her baby, and for giving birth to the baby via C-section. Aditi replied, "Don't ever blame yourself for anything. Its a blessing to be a mother! And always remember do what makes you happy and trust your instinct. There is no right and wrong in a normal and C-section. Its nature and destiny. Motherhood shouldn't come with pressures, it shouldn't come with judgements. Being a mother isn't easy and I just want to tell you be happy because your vibes are going to your child!” ALSO READ: Aditi Malik Opens Up On Giving Birth To Her Baby Boy Ekbir Through C-Section; Says 'As A Mother The Best Gift I Have Is My Instinct'
