Television actress Nia Sharma hit back at Devoleena Bhattacharjee after the latter slammed her for extending support to actor Pearl V Puri. The actress took to Twitter and reacted with a befitting reply. Earlier, Devoleena criticised the celebrities who have extended support to Pearl V Puri amidst the controversy surrounding his arrest. The Bigg Boss 13 fame lashed out at the celebrities and asked them to go on hunger strike and much more to show their support towards Pearl instead of sharing tweets on Twitter.
Taking to her Twitter handle, Nia Sharma reacted to Devoleena Bhattacharjee’s tweet and wrote, “Didi ko koi bata do dharna and candle march nahi kar sakte pandemic hai abhi bhi.” The Naagin 4 actress pointed out how she can’t go on a strike or do a candle march for Pearl because of the pandemic. Nia Sharma was not done here. She went on and mocked Devoleena’s dancing skills. Nia spoke about Bhattacharjee’s Instagram reels and mocked them in her tweet. She wrote, “Also Didi needs to practice her dance before she makes those pathetic dance reels thinking she’s nailing them.”

Earlier, the Saath Nibhana Saathiya actress had tweeted, “Your social media handles are not going to help him. But karma will surely hit back to each one of you who is cursing that little 7yrs old girl. In another tweet, Devoleena had written, “Har ek cheez ka mazak bana kar rakha. Support Karna hai na? So go to the police station, court. Go & fight there. But at least don't get your dirty mind here to talk shit about that little girl. Pearl V Puri was arrested on Friday night for allegedly raping a minor girl. The actor was sent to 14-days of judicial custody by Vasai court. Ekta Kapoor, Karishma Tanna, Krystle D’souza, Nia Sharma and several others came out in his support. On Monday, Divya Khosla Kumar came out in Pearl’s support. She also disclosed the identity of the victim’s parents.
