Television actress Devoleena Bhattachrajee who also participated in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 13 is known for speaking her mind on social media. We have often seen the actress sharing her thoughts and giving opinion on current affairs without fearing the repercussions. And once again we could see her doing something similar in the ongoing case against Pearl V Puri, the actor who has been arrested on rape charges by Vasai Police and is in the judicial custody currently. 

The famous television actor was arrested on Friday evening under section Section 376 of the IPC & POCSO Act. He has been accused of molesting a minor and investigation is currently on. However, the news came as a shock to a lot of people including his industry friends who came out in support of him and took to their social media to lend their support to him by using #Istandwithpearl. Actors like Nia Sharma, Karishma Tanna, Krystle D'souza, Hina Khan, Anita Hassanandani, Adaa Khan, Arjun Bijlani and others shared their support mentioning him innocent and this has not gone well with Devoleena Bhattacharjee it seems as the actress did multiple tweets bashing them without naming anyone. What irked the actress was Karishma Tanna revealing the victim's IG account after which her mother's timeline was filled with hate comments by Pearl's fans. Devoleena Bhattacharjee tweeted, "Kuch toh insaniyat rakho..kaise gande log ho tum log..Dictionary kholo and check the word “Empathy” you idiots..Stop this disgusting discussion & let the court decide..Literally humanity is at its lowest…Cheap this is".

She continued in another tweet, "Maa Baap ne insaniyat sikhayee hoti toh jakaar 7 saal ki bacche k Maa k insta account pe gadho ki tarah comment karne se pehle 100 baar sochte.And who bloody ever revealed the identity of the child should also be behind the bars.I hope you or your dear ones wouldn't go thru this".

"Your social media handles are not going to help him.But karma will surely hit back to each one of you who is cursing that little 7yrs old girl.Kaise log ho yaar tum log..Dharne pe baitho,Bhook hartal karo,dikhao apna support..but gandagi mat phelao..kya gandagi macha rakhi hai, again tweeted Devoleena".

She went on to ask followers to go on a hunger strike or participate in a candle march to show their support to him in her last tweet on the matter, "Har ek cheez ka mazak bana kar rakha.Support karna hai na? So go to the police station,court. Go & fight there.But atleast dont get your dirty mind here to talk shit about that little girl.Blood go & do candle march there to release him".
