Nia Sharma On Doing Passionate KISS Scenes In Her Web-Shows; Actress Reveals, ‘Was Looking Like A Monkey After’
Nia Sharma recently opened up about her experience of shooting passionate kiss scenes for her web series’
Having made a name for herself with her versatile performances and fashion statements, Nia Sharma is one of the most adored actresses in the Indian television industry. She has been receiving accolades for her acting from all corners. Apart from TV, she even made her debut in OTT with shows like Twisted and Jamai Raja 2.0, where she was seen getting intimate with her co-stars. Now in a recent media interaction she opened up about the experience.
During her interview with Bollywood Bubble, Nia was asked if she ever felt uncomfortable while doing intimate scenes on-screen. She shared how shooting for such scenes is always mechanical as actors have to focus more on how they come across during the scene rather than actually feeling it. Talking about her experience, she shared that after she finishes shooting for kiss scenes she looks like a monkey as her lipstick spreads all around her mouth. Quoted by BollywoodShaadis, the 32-year-old actress added, “Most of the times, when I have smooched somebody in a web series or something, my entire lipstick was here. I was looking like a monkey, like a chimpanzee after the scene.” She went on to add that actors are so conscious about how they are looking on the screen and if the kiss comes across as “vulgar or cheap,” that they don’t have the time to feel uncomfortable. On the work front, Nia rose to fame with television serials like Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and Jamai Raja. She went onto star in several reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 8, Bigg Boss OTT and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 in the last couple of years.
