Ekta Kapoor's supernatural franchise Naagin will soon be making a comeback with season 6. A lot of speculations suggested that Rubina Dilaik who won the title of reality show Bigg Boss 14 this year will play the main lead. Rumours started after Ekta Kapoor entered the Bigg Boss house as a guest and had shown desire to work with the actress.

A source close to the show informs us, "Auditions are being done for the new season of Naagin 6 and there are high chances that Niyati Fatnani will play the lead in the show. The actress was also considered for season 5 but Surbhi Chandana was finalised later. But this time the makers are keen on finalising Niyati for the role." Niyati who gained popularity after her character of Pia Sharma in her supernatural thriller Nazar has also been part of the show Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage opposite Eijaz Khan before.
Coming to the popular franchise, till now actresses like Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan, Anita Hassanandani, Surbhi Jyoti, Nia Sharma, Subhi Chandana, Rashami Desai, Karishma Tanna, Jasmin Bhasin and Hina Khan have played Naagin on the show.
