One of the friendships that are cherished by the audience in Bigg Boss 16 is that of Abdu Rozik and Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia. Since the little star had to leave the house due to undisclosed reasons, fans have been missing their daily dose of Nimbdu. Even Nimrit’s mother Inderpreet Kaur said that his friendship with her daughter is “very organic and beautiful.”
Recently, during an interaction with Bollywood Life, Kaur opened up about Nimrit and Abdu’s friendship and how calmly Salman Khan handled Sajid Khan’s allegations of her daughter leading the 19-year-old on. Talking about how the entire ordeal panned out, the actress’ mother told the entertainment portal, “Honestly, it was very organic and beautiful friendship. Within all the chaos, they had a great bond. Nimrit is mature enough to let him know that she respects his feelings but drew that line. She did not wish to hurt him. She told him of the age difference between them. She had clarified on at least six different occasions. Salman Khan did not make it embarrassing for Nimrit or Abdu. She went on to praise the Salman for handling the unpleasant incident beautifully.
For the unversed, it all happened when Sajid, worried for Abdu getting his feelings hurt because of his one-sided love story, had accused Nimrit for leading him on. The 56-year-old actor had asked the singer to openly share his feelings for Nimrit on national television. The Tajik singer had confessed that he had overcome his feelings and he sees her as a friend.
She went on hail Abdu and called him a sweetheart. Expressing how Abdu having feelings was not wrong, she said, “It is a human feeling. He is so adorable...such a sweetheart. His heart is full of love and he has positive vibes. It is wrong for anyone to judge their relationship and give it a bad name. That aspect disturbed me. You can love someone and that love can be in any form of love.” She also revealed that Nimrit being an Army kid understood diversity. She went on to express that she is waiting for the singer to return on the show and the whole nation loves him and his is the “biggest stressbuster” on the show. She went on to share that she would love to host the entire gang of Bigg Boss 16 at her house once the show ends. She said, “I would love to host Abdu, Shiv, Sumbul and the whole gang at our home after the season ends. I have told Nimrit that all differences should be kept only for the game.”
