Pearl V Puri thrown out of Meri Saasu Maa due to his starry tantrums?
The actor has been screaming hoarse that he is very much a part of the show but buzz is, the producers have a different plan
Rumours have been flying thick and fast that Pearl V Puri’s character Sattu will be shown dying in Meri Saasu Maa, thus marking his exit from the show. However, the actor vehemently denied these reports – he stated that his character will be seen returning from the dead soon. He insists that his absence will be a temporary one.

Pearl has been shown the door by producers Saba Mumtaz and Rahul Kumar Tewary.

The production house and the crew were exasperated by the actor’s constant tantrums. Pearl, who is rumoured to be dating his co-star Hiba Nawab, would often be locked up in his make-up room with his ladylove while the crew patiently waited outside for his shots. Their constant PDA and coochie-cooing has been a regular feature on the sets, much to the displeasure of everyone around.
Not just that, Pearl and Hiba even had a big showdown with co-star Aanchal Khurana when she blew the lid on their relationship (Meri Saasu Maa actor Pearl Puri calls co-star Aanchal Khurana ‘psycho’, May 28).
Tired of his starry airs, the producers, we hear, have asked Pearl to make a graceful exit from the show.
