Pooja Bedi On Karan Oberoi’s Condition In Police Custody: “He’s Worn Down”
Speaking to SpotboyE.com, Pooja Bedi revealed that her friend Karan Oberoi is living in immense mental, emotional and physical conditions in police custody
We happened to ask her how’s Karan feeling, since she has been meeting him in Oshiwara police station on and off. SpotboyE.com has it that Bedi is in touch with those who count to keep her informed about the proceedings in Oberoi’s matter.
Bedi has been at the forefront in defence of Oberoi. Yesterday, she called for a press conference and came across very anguished over what Oberoi is going through. Today, as she spoke to us again, she said, “He’s worn down because he is currently living in tough mental, emotional and physical conditions. It’s absurd and grossly unfair to have anyone subjected to that when it’s obvious that the case is fake and manipulated. The police have stated today that there are contradictions in her FIR. It’s very apparent what is happening. And that he's suffering for NO fault of his. He’s very touched and moved by all the love and support. Fingers crossed, he comes out soon.”

Last evening, Pooja had said, “I’m so upset that pro women laws can subject a decent innocent man to so much of trauma. I’ve been visiting him every day. He’s in shock. And it’s deeply distressful that any woman can just walk into a police station without any real evidence and make such claims and subject a man, his reputation and family through so much grief, embarrassment and loss.”
Concluding her today’s chat with us, she says, “Fingers crossed for tomorrow.”
A quick recap at what exactly happened. A female astrologer accused the actor of raping and extorting money from her. An FIR was filed at the Oshiwara police station under Section 376 (rape) and 384 (extortion) of the Indian Penal Code. On the morning of May 6, Karan was produced in Andheri Court and he has been taken into police custody till May 9.
We had even contacted his friend Sonali Singh who said, "He was disturbed. He told me a girl was harassing him to the core.” Then, Karan’s sister Vani got emotional in an exclusive chat with us wherein she stated that her brother had been framed.
