Popular TV Show Swayamvar To Make A Comeback With Season 4
Reality TV show Swayamvar where the contestants perform tasks and woo a celebrity bride/groom, in return for their hand in marriage, is coming back on TV, very soon...
There’s good news for TV buffs... the popular show
Swayamvar that has had a successful run for 3 consecutive seasons, is now
returning to your television screens with season 4.
A source informs SpotboyE.com that the makers are
planning to bring back the show, this time on Colors TV.
Rakhi Sawant
Though the producers are yet to finalise on a celebrity
for the show but we hear that they have already started looking for a venue,
somewhere in Rajasthan.
SpotboyE.com has also learnt that the celebrity at the
center of the show, would be offered a hefty pay package to get married on
national television.
Rahul Mahajan
In 2009, first season of the show hit TV screens on NDTV
Imagine. Hosted by Ram Kapoor, it was titled Rakhi Ka Swayamvar. On the show,
Rakhi fell for Elesh Parujanwala, a Canadian businessman.
In 2010 came Season 2, where ex-Bigg Boss contestant
Rahul Mahajan, found his wife Dimpy Ganguly. While Rakhi and Elesh, did not tie
the knot, Rahul and Dimpy were man and wife for a few years, before Dimpy filed
for divorce. Dimpy remarried sometime back. This season was called Rahul Dulhaniya
Le Jayega. 
Ratan Rajput
In 2011, the show’s third season went on air. Featuring
TV actress Ratan Rajput, the show saw the lady find her life partner in
software engineer Abhinav Sharma. This relationship did not materialise into
marriage.
And now SOL productions is all set to bring back another
season of Swayamvar on the small screen, this time on Colors. It has already
started looking for a celebrity candidate. The show will be aired in 2018 and
it will be exciting to see which celebrity gives a nod to marry on national
TV.
