Actresses who have played heroines in their career love to carry that image forever. However, Surbhi Jyoti has a different thought process. The actress, who has always played the main lead heroine in her Punjabi films and television shows like Qubool Hai, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai and Naagin 3, wants to do a negative role now.
Surbhi enjoys a strong fan base and is loved for the characters she has played till now. But Surbhi doesn't mind breaking her image of a heroine and play a villain. Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively, Surbhi confessed, "If a negative role is offered to me, it would be my first choice. All I have done in my career are positive roles. I would do it for free if somebody offers me a good impactful negative role. As an actor, character doesn't matter. Heroine main ban chuki hoon but now I really want to explore myself as an actor. After her successful debut with web series Tanhaiyan in 2017, Surbhi has made a comeback on OTT with Qubool Hai 2.O and the actress feels this space has opened up a lot of opportunities for actors. "OTT has given a right opportunity to all the actors to choose their work accordingly. Now there is no need to do what you have been doing for years."
