Rakhi Sawant Receives A Floral Welcome On Airport After Her Return From Umrah! Says 'Rakhi Nahi Fatima Bolo'-WATCH
Rakhi Sawant aka Fatima meticulously documented her pilgrimage to Mecca and she has shared multiple videos of herself from her Umrah on Instagram
Rakhi Sawant returned from her pilgrimage to Mecca following her Umrah on Thursday morning. The former Bigg Boss contestant went to Saudi Arabia with a few friends for the pilgrimage and upon her return she was welcomed by some fans with garlands and floral showers at the airport.
While the former television queen made her way out of the gate, she asked the paparazzi gathered around her to address her as Fatima. She was heard saying, “Rakhi nahi, Fatima bolo (Not Rakhi, call me Fatima).”
Well, upon Fatima aka Rakhi’s request, the photographers obliged and began calling her Fatima. A man even tried to put a garland around her neck but she stepped back from him and took the garland from his hand. She did not even let a woman put another garland around her neck.
When a pap inquired if she changed her name in her documents, Rakhi said, “God made me just like this, he loves me just how I am. He doesn't need me to change documents or my name.”
Interestingly, Rakhi meticulously documented her pilgrimage to Mecca and she has shared multiple videos of herself from her Umrah on Instagram.
However, many called her out for trying to gain publicity from it. She even cried on camera about the various allegations Adil had made against her, while standing next to the Kaaba.
The actress reportedly converted to Islam for her marriage with Adil Khan. She later accused him of being abusive towards her and even filed a police report against him. Adil was also accused of rape by another woman and was arrested in February.
Lately, the former couple has been hurling accusations against each other in the media. They even held a slew of press conferences in Mumbai.
