Yesterday, SpotboyE.com exclusively told you that all is not well between Raqesh Bapat and Ridhi Dogra. It’s been quite sometime that the couple has been living separately and their close friends like Asha Negi and Sargun Mehta have denied to comment on their relationship. Well now, Ridhi and Raqesh have released an official statement about their separation.
According to Hindustan Times, their statement read, “Yes, we are living separately. This decision has been taken with mutual respect and care for each other and our families. We are two best friends who may not be a couple anymore. But our friendship will continue as it always has, through thick and thin. Appreciate if no further speculation is made and heartfelt gratitude to everyone for all the love you have always given us.”
The couple who worked together in Maryada — Lekin Kab Tak in 2010, became close friends and tied the knot in May 2011. This year, they would have completed 8 years together. Apart from their joint statement, Ridhi’s brother Akshay Dogra has also spoken about the separation. He told HT, “life shouldn’t be treated dramatically; it’s a choice to live happily and coexist with love and compassion.”
Yesterday, when SpotboyE had contacted Ridhi, she said, “I am sorry. I have to..." and she cut the phone. Later, when we tried to call her again and again she chose to not to respond to our calls. Further, when we texted her saying, “requesting you to call back or send a quote', to which she ultimately replied, "You have no right to talk about anyone's personal life. Stay away." We then replied to her saying, 'We need to report, while we understand that she is going through a tough time." Ridhi then hit back and said, "No, we are not. You are talking rubbish. Please stop this." We reached out to her again saying that we are writing her quote as "We are fine" to which Ridhi shot back, "I am giving you no right to write anything."
