Ekta Kapoor welcomed a baby boy on January 27 via surrogacy. She named him Ravie, that’s same as her father Jeetendra’s real name. Sharing the happy news on social media, Ekta had written, “By God’s grace, I have seen many successes in my life, but nothing beats the feeling of this beautiful soul being added in my world. I cannot even begin to express how happy my baby’s birth has made me. Everything in life doesn’t go the way you want it to but there are always solutions to those hiccups. I found mine and today I feel immensely blessed to become a parent. It is an emotional moment for me and my family and I can’t wait to begin this new journey of being a mother to my little bundle of joy, Ravie Kapoor. – Ekta Kapoor”

Post that, she had even shared tidbits on the 7 year long journey towards becoming a mother. However, she hadn’t spoken about her baby yet on a public platform. The promotional event for Puncchbeat made her say a few wise words on the arrival of her little one.

Said Ekta, “It’s a new beginning and I just want you all to shower your wishes.” When she was asked as to how does she balance her work schedules and churn out time for the newborn. She quickly replied, “Multi-tasking is the key,” ending the conversation. For those who don’t know, Ekta is the first Indian female celebrity to become a single mother via surrogacy. While, everybody has been waiting to catch a clear glimpse of Ekta’s little baby, a picture of his tiny fingers held by Ekta had made its way online.Later, Ekta herself shared a picture of Ravie sleeping in the cradle as brother Lakkshya keeps a watch on him.

Recently, we had even engaged in an exclusive chat with her actor-brother Tusshar Kapoor, who’s the father of Lakkshya. When we had asked him about Ravie, Tusshar replied, Ravie is the second child in the family and it’s a joy.”
