Rashami Desai turns 31 today. And this special occasion was made all the more special by her Rakhi brother Mrunal Jain. He threw a surprise party for Rashami to ring in her birthday.
Rashami took to her social media account to post a few pictures and videos. She captioned it as “The best best start to my birthday! Bhai gave me the best surprise ever #SufiNight scenes at home. Thank you @mrunaljainofficial and @sweetiejain21 for the most precious surprise ever #BlessedWithTheBest” (sic)
Although professionally her career is back on track as Rashami Desai’s much-hyped show Dil Se Dil Tak starring Siddharth Shukla has got a decent start, but her personal life is still rocky!
After her divorce with Nandish Sandhu last year, she was recently linked to TV actor Laksh Lalwani. Her marriage with Nandish lasted for about 4 years.
Recently, SpotboyE.com asked Rashami her side of the story in context to the recent link-up, she didn’t deny it but said the same old sentences, “I don’t like to talk about it. But yes, recent stories which linked me with various men did upset my mom. However, I take it in my stride as it is a flip-side side of my job. Having said that the day it starts spoiling my friendship with those men, I will stop talking to the press.”
Well, we quite expected this answer from Rashami! After all, when has any one publicly accepted a relationship which is under-wraps in front of the world? Interestingly, Laksh is 10 years younger to Rashmi.
Rashmi and Laksh were first introduced to each other on-the-sets of &TV show Adhuri Kahani Hamari, and their relationship has grown over a period of time.
A source tells us, "Rashami and Laksh used to spend a lot of time in each other's makeup room during the shoots of Adhuri Kahani Hamari. They never admitted to their relationship then and it is unlikely that they will admit to it now."
