Last couple of hours have been shocking for the entire nation, following the news of ace actor Irrfan Khan breathing his last yesterday, today film fraternity lost yet another gem, veteran superstar Rishi Kapoor. The actor succumb to cancer today morning after his prolonged battle against this deadly disease. Amidst of the lockdown implemented due to COVID-19 pandemic, many stars paid their last tribute for the actor on the social networking platforms.

One of them was Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla in his condolence tweet, mentioned while it was difficult to get over yesterday loss, today's news further left him in utter state of shock. Paying his last tribute to the veteran superstar Rishi Kapoor, he mentioned of how the late actor's magic worked on screen which filled people’s life with love. On the concluding note he mentioned of the actor having a huge contribution towards the Indian film industry.  We too agree with Sidharth.

Sidharth’s tweet read, “If getting over yesterday's loss wasn't enough.. today brings in another unfortunate demise! The legendary actor #RishiKapoor ... who filled our hearts and screens with so much love..it is sad that he is no more. He surely had an iconic contribution to the Indian film industry!”

As per our reports Rishi Kapoor’s funeral will be held at Chandanwadi crematorium. Currently his daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni has got permission to ply to Mumbai to attend her father’s last rites but waits for charter plane permission to make it in time.
