Ruckus On The Sets Of Ikyawann, Production Head Lata Allegedly Misbehaves...

There was a fracas on the sets of Star Plus’ Ikyawann this afternoon.

Satya (Namish Taneja) and Susheel (Prachi Tehlan) were shooting for the show in Filmcity and a few reporters from news channels were also present to report on the show’s upcoming track. They had an official invite from Star Plus to film the proceedings and talk to the stars in-between shots.

However, all hell broke loose when the Production Head Lata Shreedhar and the show’s Executive Producer (EP) refused to allow them to capture the scene, and proceeded to allegedly insult them.

The reporters tried to convince Lata, but the lady continued with her aggressive ways. "Don't dare capture anything. Leave us alone,” she said
Lata added that the media had no power, and the reporters shouldn’t waste her time.

Coming to her rescue, the show’s director also intervened and threatened to “break the cameras.”

A source from the set informed about the whole incident. “Not only media but the production crew and actors are also upset with Lata's behaviour. She often addresses actors very rudely and they can’t stand her,” said the source. got in touch with Lata, and this is her version, “The media started arguing and I was only trying to stop the conversation. But I lost it completely as they misbehaved with the EP. And yes I said that media has no power because they were busy mentioning that you can't behave like this with media people."

Lata further added, “There is a protocol followed in all the shows that I handle. The channel PR has to drop a message to the episode producer, informing us which all channels will visit the set on a particular day. I received no message from Star Plus today.”

Lata has been an integral part of various popular shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon (Star Plus) and Suhaani Si Ek Ladki (Star Plus).
