Television actress Rupali Ganguly, who is currently essaying the role of Anupamaa in the show of the same name, tested positive for COVID-19 recently. On Saturday, the actress made a new post on her Instagram and shared an update. Ganguly informed that her family and staff have tested negative for the virus. After testing positive for the virus, Rupali had made a post and informed fans about the same. The actress had also mentioned that she has quarantined herself and distanced herself from her family.
The Anupamaa fame shared two pictures of her enjoying the atmosphere. She shared a photo of her with her hair wrapped up in a towel, looking at the sky. The second snap sees Rupali flashing a blissful smile for the camera and posing with her wet after shower hair. Sharing the two pictures, the actress wrote, “Sherawali Mata teri sada hi Jai Jai MAHAKAAL Gratitude to the universe The family and the staff at home have tested negative Thank u all so much for the prayers and blessings” Rupali thanked God that her family and staff tested negative. She also thanked fans for prayers and blessings. The actress updated fans about ‘Quarantine day 2’ and shared a positive thought. Sharing the thought, she wrote, “Positive thought - aaj kai dinon baad ... dhoop aur taazi hawa mein baal sukhaaye.... hairdryer se jaldi jaldi hair damage karke nahi”

Meanwhile, apart from Rupali Ganguly, her co-star Aashish Mehrotra also tested positive for COVID-19. On Saturday, Anupamaa producer Rajan Shahi released an official statement and informed that he contracted the virus too.
