news for fans of Loveleen Kaur Sasan aka Paridhi from STAR Plus' popular show,
Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, as the actress got engaged to a Bengaluru based
businessman, Koushik Krishnamurthy, last night.
Loveleen
exchanged rings with Koushik in Bengaluru. It was a typical South Indian affair,
where the actress draped a Kanjivaram saree for her special day.
The
actress shared the news on Instagram with a caption which read, “He's more of myself than I
am. Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same.”
Interestingly, another function is scheduled for today which is being organized on a grand scale with about 1000 guests. It will be held at Bangalore Palace. Last night, the function took place at an old age home, owned by Loveleen’s in-laws.
We called Loveleen to congratulate her and know more about the functions. She told us, “Yes, last night we did exchange rings after a small pooja according to South Indian rituals. It’s a tradition in my in-laws house to celebrate anything auspicious in the aashram first. This morning, our roka happened in a gurudwara. Tonight, we will host a big function at Bangalore Palace, where we will officially exchange rings.”
It's
an arranged-cum-love marriage, where Loveleen’s sister-in-law played the
cupid. She introduced her to Koushik, last year, on a WhatsApp group and felt he was the
perfect guy for her.

Talking about her
relationship with Koushik, Loveleen had earlier said in an interview, “He is a
positive and sensible guy. I also get to learn so much from him. Our
relationship is growing stronger with every passing day and I feel blessed to
have him in my life.”
Interestingly,
Koushik was unaware that Lovey was an actress and only came to know after he
Googled up on her. The actress has been a part of the TV industry since a long
time. She has done shows like Bade Acche Lagte Hain, Kya Hua Tera Vaada,
Anamika and others. However, it was her three year stint on Saath Nibhaana
Saathiya that made her a household name.
