At the launch event of Bigg Boss 16, Salman Khan gives a witty reply to reports claiming he is being paid a whopping Rs 1000 crore for hosting the reality show!
Salman Khan is all set to woo fans with his hosting prowess in the popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss 16’ which will premiere on 1st October. Several exciting promos of the show have already created a huge buzz on social media. To note, Salman’s hefty fee for the new season has been the talk of the town after several media reports claimed he is being paid Rs 1000 crore for hosting the reality show. Now, Dabangg Khan has finally responded to this.
The 56-year-old actor on Tuesday made a stunning appearance at the launch event of the show in Mumbai. Salman as usual was at his witty best and entertained the media with his charming personality and quirky answers. He spoke about many things during the launch event and amongst them were reports saying he is being paid a whopping Rs 1000 crores for Bigg Boss 16. The Sultan actor gave a hilarious answer to this, leaving everyone in splits.
Khan joked he would never work if he was paid such a huge amount. He went on to take a dig at him saying he has a lot of expenses like the fees of his lawyers. Not just that, Salman also mentioned that because of these rumours Income Tax officials 'noticed' him. The actor said in the press conference, “Itna mujhe kabhi life mein nahi milega. Itna mil gaya toh kabhi kaam na karo. I have a lot of expenses, like lawyers. Due to these rumours, income tax people notice and come to me.”
Meanwhile, Tajik singer Abdu Rozik, TV actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Imlie fame Sumbul Touqeer, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 fame Gautam Vij are said to be the confirmed contestants of Bigg Boss 16.
