Actress Navika Kotia, who is seen playing Maya in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai,’ recently, took to her Instagram handle to inform fans that she has been diagnosed with meningitis. Navika is currently in a hospital undergoing the treatment for the same and revealed that she stills needs to stay hospitalised for around 10 more days. The actress also expressed gratitude to her fans and well-wishers for keeping a check on her.
On Tuesday, Kotia posted a note on her Instagram stories informing that she could not reply to calls and messages due to her ill health. She also mentioned that she is getting better with each passing day and will soon bounce back. Her note read, “Hey everyone, thank you for all your messages, calls and wishes. Thank you for checking up on me. Sorry I haven't replied to all your messages, I can't use my phone much. I have been diagnosed with meningitis. Meanwhile, Navika’s character in Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod starrer daily soap was introduced after the show took a one-year leap. She plays the role of singer Maya who due to an accident could not sing and thus she uses Akshara’s voice to earn a reputed singing show. Navika Kotia is also known for her stint in the film ‘English Vinglish’ where she played late Sridevi’s daughter.
