Two weeks later, the actress has finally taken the step. She took to social media to announce that she has indeed quit the show.
"Just wanted to say a big thank u @lostboyjourney for evrything,for being there,for d great friend that u are.thank u for giving me "Devi paulomi" and a great show "santoshi Maa".has surely been an evolving journey .but this journey ends today but it surely ends on a happy note .i m sure and I hope the journey of our friendship continues beautifully .once again a heartfelt thank u for evrything .have told u time n again that I m happy n lucky to have a friend in u.god bless u always .lotsa love 😊😘,"posted the actress on Instagram.
Sayantani was playing Poulomi Maa (Goddess of Jealousy) in the mythological TV show but was unhappy that her dates were not being used to the optimum.
