Actor Shaheer Sheikh has been making it to the headlines for all the right reasons, and his fans are delighted to see him star in ‘Pavitra Rishta 2.0’. The actor with his wife Ruchikaa Kapoor surprised all his fans as they announced the welcoming of a baby girl on September 10, 2021.
Now, in yet another surprising turn of events, the actor has shared a picture of himself and his wife Ruchikaa from the baby shower as he expressed gratitude for all the love and good wishes on embracing parenthood. In a post, which he shared on Monday, he also shared the name of his baby daughter, who is known as - ‘Anaya’.
His caption read, “Blessed with the gift of life. Filled with immense gratitude… need all your love and good wishes for the journey ahead. Keep us in your prayers. #Anaya”

While the fans have been waiting for the first glimpse of Shaheer and Ruchikaa’s daughter, it seems they have to wait a little longer.
Shaheer hosted a baby shower for Ruchikaa in August, 2021 and the function was attended by the couple’s close friends and family members, including actors Krystle D’Souza and Ridhi Dogra. The couple themed the decoration blue and pink, being careful not dropping a hint whether they were expecting a boy or a girl.
The popular television actor got hitched with Ruchikaa in a court marriage in November 2020. The couple planned on hosting a ceremony for their loved ones in Jammu, although they scrapped the plans owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
