Season three of Shark Tank India has been gaining the attention of the netizens for all the right reasons. The eager audience always tunes into the show to know more about the up-and-coming businesses. Being one of the first business-related reality shows on Indian television, fans often take to social media to share their views about the new pitches and the sharks’ reactions. In the latest episode of the show, the co-founders of a gym membership brand Rishab and Roshan came to pitch their business idea.

As reported by ETimes, they explained the need for their gym membership business’ plan in society. One of them went on to state that they took a survey in their college and realised how important their business was. Adding more details about their brand, Rohit and Rishab stated that one can plan and customise their gym membership with the use of technology as per their needs and the required amount. The co-founders ask Rs 7 lakh for 10% equity in their company. Apart from talking about their marketing strategy, how they built their brand, and what made them start their business, they also gave a demo of their website. They went on to reveal that more than 70 gyms are listed on their website. Shark Aman Gupta expressed his disappointment in the business. He lashed out at the co-founders and stated that the ones who are committed to building their bodies would hardly skip the gym and ones who aren’t that serious wouldn’t use their platform anyway. Disagreeing with his fellow shark, Anupam Mittal stated that the business seems to target people, who look for cheaper prices for the gym. However, Ritesh and Amit agreeing with Aman’s point of view stated that overall gym membership for a year would be cheaper that what the brand is offering. It was seen that amidst all the discussion, Namita, Aman and Anupama ask the co-founders to shut their business and focus on something else. As the segment came to an end, Amit and Ritesh offered them Rs 7 lakhs for 10% equity in exchange of a condition, that they would hire a tech CEO.
