As you know, former Bigg Boss contestant Rochelle Rao plays a hot nurse in The Kapil Sharma Show. But SpotboyE has it that the role was first offered to Shilpa Shinde of the Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hain fame.

Shilpa, we hear, was pretty excited about the role as it would have changed her Bhabi image and given her a glamorous makeover. So, what went wrong?

We hear, the makers changed their minds in the wake of her major tiff with Bhabi Ji... producer Binaifer Kohli. The actress had also defied CINTAA (Cine & Television Artistes’ Association) and refused to shoot for the show (Shilpa Shinde defies CINTAA order...AGAIN!, Mar 23).
All aspects considered, team Kapil decided to stay away from controversies and make a safer choice -- Rochelle.
