There has been a lot of excitement among fans of Shweta Tiwari ever since the news of her comeback on television screens after more than 3 years surfaced. Shweta Tiwari, who was once the most popular face on television is all set to return on the TV screens with Sony Tv's new show, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan where she will be romancing Varun Badola onscreen. The show revolves around the bond between a father and daughter and Shweta Tiwari will play the role of Varun Badola's love interest. 

Now, the teaser of Mere Dad Ki Dulhan is out and it definitely promises to bring something new to the Indian audiences. Going by the teaser of the show, it looks quite refreshing and looks like an honest attempt at a good story with excellent and extemely talented cast- Shweta Tiwari and Varun Badola. Shweta Tiwari's daughter Palak Tiwari took to Instagram and shared the teaser of Mere Dad Ki Dulhan and wrote, "@shweta.tiwari will always always be my favourite person to watch on screen which makes me super duper excited for this!!!!! Meanwhile, Shweta Tiwari shot to fame and became a household name with her iconic role of Prerna in Ekta Kapoor's show Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She was last seen in Begusarai. 

Shweta Tiwari made headlines a few weeks ago for filing a police complaint against her second husband Abhinav Kohli and accused him of domestic violence. It was also later revealed that Shweta’s daughter Palak, too, was a victim of his violent behaviour and would often come across his filthy remarks.
