Unfortunately, actor Sumeet Vyas becomes the latest one to have contracted the novel Coronavirus. He recently took to his Instagram account to inform that he has been diagnosed with COVID-19. After testing positive, he has put himself under home quarantine while taking all the necessary medications prescribed by my doctors. He also requested people who have come in close contact with him in the last few days to get themselves tested while asking everyone to stay safe. However, his wife Ekta Kaul’s condition is still unknown.
He wrote, “Hello, so I have tested positive for COVID-19. I’m taking all the necessary precautions, taking medication prescribed by my doctors and putting myself under home quarantine. Although I have very mild to negligible symptoms, but I’d request anyone who’s come in contact with me in the last few days to get themselves tested. Stay safe and see you on the other side… soon.” His friends and stars like Sunil Grover, Saqib Saleem, Goldie Behl, Gajraj Rao, Piyush Sahdev and more have wished him speedy recovery while his Tripling co-stars Kubbra Sait and Amol Parashar posted comments like their on-screen character. The former wrote, “Get well soon Baba Hang in there. This too shall pass” while the latter said, “Sending love baba. Chill with you on the other side”
Meanwhile, with the second wave of COVID-19 hitting India severely, many actors have been affected by the virus while shooting for their films and TV shows. On the other hand, with the sharp rise in cases, the Maharashtra government announced to put all kind of film, TV, web and ad shoots on hold for fifteen days in the state.
