Actress Sumona Chakravarti is widely known for playing Bhuri in the popular chat show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’. Of late, Sumona has been making headlines for multiple reasons. A few days ago, she grabbed headlines owing to her wedding rumours with Kajol's cousin Samrat Mukerji. And, recently, Sumona was trending on social media, courtesy, her throwback video from Aamir Khan and Manisha Koirala’s 1999 film Mann. While sharing this old clip, Sumona confirmed that it was her, as many fans tagged her in the post asking the same.

The actress re-shared the video on her Instagram story and wrote, “Since everyone is asking if it's me. Yup!” In another follow-up story, she wrote, “I was just a kid yaar.” In the video, Sumona as a nearly 10-year-old was seen explaining to a kid about love. Manisha Koirala was also seen in this old video which has taken the internet by storm. Needless to say, little Sumona looked super cute in the scene in this viral clip. The actress appeared as a child actor in the 1999 film Mann, directed by Indra Kumar. The romantic drama also featured Anil Kapoor and Sharmila Tagore in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, in May, Sumona Chakravarti dismissed her wedding rumours with Samrat Mukerji and called it ‘rubbish.’ She told ETimes, “Oh, God! These are old 10-year-old stories from social media. This is rubbish. Frankly, no comments, I don't like to talk about my personal life. If ever there's any development, you all will get to know about it. I shall announce it.”

In terms of work, Sumona will be donning a host’s hat for a travel-based show called Shonar Bengal.
