Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah makers found a new Sonu in the form of Palak Sidhwani. The actress who’s been a part of ads and short films in the past spoke to SpotboyE.com about replacing Nidhi Bhanushali on the show. Producer Asit Modi too welcomes her in the TMKOC family
It was just yesterday that we brought you the exclusive scoop about Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah makers finding a new Sonu in the form of Palak Sidhwani. Nidhi Bhanushali who was seen as Sonu quit in February this year and her character was shown going abroad for further studies. Now, after all these months, the makers finally brought in her replacement. Palak Sidhwani it is! This morning, we exclusively brought you her first picture as Sonu.
Now, an elated Palak Sidhwani stated, “I am so delighted to be a part of world’s most loved TV serial. I am thankful to Neela Tele Films, especially Asit sir for believing in me and choosing me for playing the part of Sonu. It is such a great feeling to be a part of a show that I have watched growing up and has made me laugh through the years. To know that I too am going to contribute in making people laugh as I have is just too overwhelming a feeling to put in words. I will do my best to adapt Sonu’s character and gel seamlessly with Tapu Sena along with the rest of Gokuldham Society.”
