Team Laado 2 PLEADS, CAJOLES & CONVINCES Ammaji To Return

In what is one of the biggest twists in TV tales, Ammaji aka Meghna Malik has agreed to face the camera for Laado 2 albeit for not more than a week.

Yesterday, SpotboyE.com had told you that Meghna quit the show owing to creative differences with the makers. The actress was mighty upset with the track and the fact that she was set to be bumped off from the show.

A source tells SpotboyE.com, “The makers were in a fix as Meghna’s character has a huge fan following. As soon as the news of her exit spread, they began getting calls and messages from fans. A bevy of fans also wrote to Meghna too asking her to reconsider her decision.”

“Team Laado 2 then began cajoling the actress to come back. Initially, she gave them a firm ‘No’, however, in time, she decided to respect the makers and agreed to come back for 5-7 days. She reported on-set today and shot for the show,” adds the source.

Now, the writers will have to burn the midnight oil to figure out the ideal way of rounding her character off.

Meghna Malik made her comeback with sequel of Naa Ana Is Desh Meri Laado titled Laado- Veerpur Ki Mardani, which deals with disturbing subjects like women trafficking and sexual abuse. Her comeback in Amaaji's avatar brought smile to the faces of audiences and her character gained popularity in the first season. In the sequel, Ammaji sported the same look but had a different perspective towards girl child.

We are curious to know how the track will now unfold considering Meghna is back on-set.
