Taapsee Pannu graces The Kapil Sharma Show to promote her movie, Rashmi Rocket
Taapsee Pannu will be seen promoting her upcoming movie, Rashmi Rocket on the popular show, The Kapil Sharma Show this weekend. In the latest promo posted by Sony TV, Kapil is seen teasing Taapsee for doing a lot of sports movies. The actress played a hockey player in Soorma and Manmarziyaam, and then she was seen as a rifle shooter in Saand Ki Aankh. And now she is all set to play a cricketer in Shabaash Mithu and plays a sprinter in Rashmi Rocket.
In the promo, Kapil says, “Taapsee ne kaafi saari films ki jinmein woh athlete bani hain. Soorma or Marnmarziyaan mein inhone hockey kheli, Saand Ki Aankh mein inhone rifle shooting ki or aane wali film inki cricket ke uper hai or ab jo film hai usmein athelete bani hain. Toh aapne acting a course kiya hai ya PT Usha ka course kiya hai?” Sony TV captioned the video, “Humein toh lagta hai ki ek din @taapsee olympic mein bhi zaroor jaayengi!”
Rashmi Rocket narrates the story of a girl, Rashmi, a sprinter from Kutch from 2014, who dreams to represent her country on an international level. However, the path to achieving her dream is not easy, as she gets questioned for her gender. The movie shows her journey as she fights a legal battle against the country’s athletics association.
