It was recently revealed that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah star Mandar Chandwadkar has tested positive for COVID-19. The actor now shared a video and updated fans about his health. He captioned the video as, "Guys do take care of yourself plz plz wear mask n maintain social distance.. i am asymptomatic and shall resume work very soon... till then take care n be safe #safetyfirst #keepsmiling #behealthy #getwellsoon #tmkocfanclub #atmaramtukarambhide."

In the video, Mandar says that he is following all the instructions and asked everyone to maintain social distancing and also requested everyone to wear masks for safety. He further thanked his fans for their prayers.

Earlier, talking about his health condition, he told ETimes TV, "My symptoms of cold had actually gone away but suddenly yesterday I could not smell camphor in puja. I felt I had lost the sense of smell and got myself tested. Upon getting the test, I immediately informed the TMKOC unit that I shall stay away from the shoot until I am perfectly alright again. Yes, I am COVID positive but I am taking every possible care." He further added, "As for my isolation, I am doing it at my home only."

In the video shared by the actor on his Instagram, Mandar also said that he will be back soon to entertain everyone. He essays the role of Bhide and his character is loved by many.
