Ekta Kapoor’s remake
of Kasautii Zindagii Kay is creating headlines every day. The
producer took to Instagram to share the first promo of sequel and not
only the Internet but the actors who have been part of this iconic show
couldn’t keep calm on seeing it.
We got talking to Urvashi
Dholakia, who changed the scene of vamps on small screen with her unforgettable
character of Komolika. She shared her excitement for the sequel and said, “I am
extremely happy that an epic show like KZK is returning to the small screen. I
am sure that this time around as well history will be created as it did
earlier. I wish Balaji telefilms, Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Aunty and Star Plus my
best wishes and many many congratulations. I also wish the new star cast of the
show all the very best and I am confident that they will set the screen
ablaze.”
When asked if Hina Khan is
fit to play Komolika she replied, “Who am I to answer that.”
Not only Urvashi but
Shweta Tiwari who played Prerna Basu wrote on Ekta Kapoor’s Instagram
post, "Wow... Congratulations and All the best for new TV
saga...title song looks amazing.” Ronit Roy (Rishab Bajaj) also wished
luck to all those who are working on the fresh season.
Yesterday, we brought to
you an exclusive interview of new Prerna Basu (Erica Fernandes) who spoke
to us at length on her new show. The actress, who became a household name with
her show, Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi, is extremely excited about her latest
venture. We asked her if she has watched Kasautii in her childhood, and the
actress replied, “Yes, of course, this
was one of the many K series shows that I grew up watching. And little did I
know then that I would be a part of it in the near future.”
