Vipul Roy Walks Out Of Madhumati, Show to End on Sept 30
It was barely a few weeks since his show Sahib Biwi Aur Boss went off air that Vipul Roy bagged a new project on the same channel (SAB TV) to play the male lead opposite Debina Bonnerjee in Vipul D Shah's Madhumati. SpotboyE.com has it that Roy has quit the show.

A source told SpotboyE.com, "Roy was not at all happy with the show. He felt that the execution was not as per what was told to him when he came on board.".
Madhumati was originally called Dr Bhanumati On Duty and was revamped and retitled only recently (July) after Kavita Kaushik stormed out of the show as she felt it was a mish-mash of her original show on SAB TV, FIR. Kavita was soon replaced by Debina.
SpotboyE.com also has it that SAB TV might culminate Madhumati soon. When contacted, Roy simply said, "Yes, Madhumati is coming to a close."
On the other hand, Hemant Kiwani from Optimystix (producer) said, "Madhumati was always a finite series. We will go off air by September 30 and Roy is there till the end."
