Model-singer Asim Riaz rose to fame with his brilliant stint on the reality show Bigg Boss 13 where he emerged as the runner-up. Of late, Riaz has been busy promoting his debut music rap single, and during one of the media interviews, he made an explosive claim that Sidharth Shukla was a rigged winner of Bigg Boss 13 and that the show was biased. He even claimed that the makers of the Salman Khan-hosted show did not want him to win.

Speaking with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Asim said, “Mere dauraan unhone kya kiya because they didn’t want me to win, haanji bhai aaj hum online voting khol denge 15 min ke liye, jitana hai jitao jisko (they opened online voting and said, make whoever you want win). Come on man, just say you don’t want to make me win, it’s okay. You made it that obvious that we had to believe that you did whatever and I was like it’s okay.” The model got massively trolled on social media for his controversial remark. Especially, fans and friends of Sidharth have expressed their resentment toward Asim over his remark on Sidharth Shukla's Bigg Boss win being rigged. Interestingly, Shehnaaz Gill’s brother Shehbaz also slammed Asim and took an indirect dig at him. He tweeted, “Some people still don’t understand sher ek hi hai aur ek hi rehta hai.” For those who are waiting for Shehnaaz Gill to respond, let us tell you that she has decided to maintain her dignified silence on the same. As reported by Bollywoodlife, an insider revealed that Shehnaaz is not going to react to such claims as she knows her fans love Sidharth and that they are enough to lash out at his haters.

In the same interview, Asim also revealed that Sidharth came in his dream on the day he died.
