Television actress Aishwarya Sakhuja, who plays the role of Ahaana in the show Yeh Hai Chahatein has been admitted to a Mumbai hospital. According to a report, she underwent surgery. The actress had earlier made a post on her social media from the hospital. Taking to her Instagram stories, Aishwarya had shared a picture of her lying on the hospital bed with her hand attached to a saline drip. The Yeh Hai Chahatein actress informed her fans, friends and well-wishers that she has not contracted COVID-19. Sakhuja had also shared a couple of images from the hospital, wherein one also saw her husband, Rohit.
Speaking with ETimes, the actress revealed she has taken a break from the shooting of her show. Aishwarya was shooting for Yeh Hai Chahatein in Goa and returned to Mumbai, two weeks ago. Talking to the publication, Sakhuja said, “I have taken a break from the show and I have returned to Mumbai. I am not going to return till the time I don't get vaccinated. This was an ultimatum that was given to me by my family. They asked me to get back and told me I can't be putting myself at risk especially in these times. I was not given any other option by them."
Aishwarya revealed her family has given her an ultimatum. She mentioned she won’t be returning on the sets until she is vaccinated. Talking about her shooting experience in Goa, Aishwarya Sakhuja said, “It's not that I did not have fun. I was very stressed because every few hours I was getting calls from my family asking when I was returning.” She mentioned she did not want her family to go through stress because of her work. The actress added, “Also, there was fear around and that's a great environment to be in. I understand that the show must go on and I personally don't like to work when I am so stressed or fearful of the environment. So that is why I took the decision of coming back."
Meanwhile, Aishwarya Sakhuja has appeared on several TV shows since her 2010 show Saas Bina Sasural. She has also featured in Trideviyaan and Main Na Bhoolungi.
