Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra and Shreyansh Kaurav starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Having started the journey with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, the Rajan Shahi production is not only one of the most-watched shows in India but it also often tops the weekly BARC ratings. The last few episodes of the show have centred around Abhinav’s death which has left the netizens with mixed reviews. 

In the upcoming episode it will be seen that Abhir and Akshara will get emotional watching Abhinav’s birthday video. As Abhir keeps on talking about how he misses his father, he falls asleep. Just then Akshara notices something in the video which leaves her shocked. She runs out of the house after informing Muskaan to look after Abhir. This leaves the Goenka’s shocked. On the other hand Abhimanyu gets shocked when he sees Akshara in jail to meet him. Akshara informs him that she wants to talk to him. He interrupts her by trying to tell her everything that actually happened with him and Abhinav. He starts by stating that he understands the pain Goenkas are going through but no one is ready to understand his pain. He heaps praises on Abhinav’s efforts and says that he genuinely wanted to celebrate his birthday. He goes on to state that the place they went to was chosen by Abhinav. He didn’t drink alcohol since he doesn’t like the smell. He explains how he tried his best in saving Abhinav but couldn’t. Without explaining much further Akshara asks Abhinav to sign some papers and tells him to follow her orders. According to the latest promo, it is seen that Akshara becomes Abhimanyu’s defence lawyer, which shocks everyone. It will be interesting to see why she decided to fight Abhimanyu’s case. This step by Akshara will surely leave the Goenkas and Birlas in shock. While Muskaan will start hating her, Majiri will question Akshara’s character. She will be hell-bent on thinking that Akshara has an ulterior motive.
