Actress Yuvika Chaudhary who has also been the winner of 'Nach Baliye 9' has been trending on social media for the wrong reason. The actress is embroiled in a new controversy after she used the word 'Bhangi' in one of her recent videos (vlog) that she posted on her Instagram without understanding the consequences. And now, the actress has posted an apology for hurting people's sentiments and also mentioned that she didn't know the meaning of it. 

In her apology post, Yuvika Chaudhary writes, "Hi guys I didn't know the meaning of that word that I used in my last vlog. I didn't mean to hurt anyone and I can never do that to hurt someone. I apologise to each and everyone. Yuvika's husband and reality TV star Prince Narula came out in her support and commented, "Baby jo hua galti se hua. For those who are unaware, the Om Shanti Om actress was shooting a clip on her mobile home inside a salon with her husband Prince Narula is in the midst of a grooming session. Filming herself in the mirror, Yuvika says that whenever she is blogging, she looks like a 'Bhangi. It didn't take long for the netizens to call her out for using the word in a derogatory manner.

Last week another television actress Munmun Dutta who essays the character of Babita in popular show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashamah was also called out for her casteist slur which she eventually deleted and apologised on social media. However, the angst against the actress didn't stop there. An official police complaint was filed against her in Indore after which Munmun has not been active on social media.
