Kapil Sharma’s much-awaited show, Family Time With Kapil
Sharma, premiered on March 25 (Sony). Fans were looking forward to laugh their
hearts out but were left languishing with the forced humour and stale
characters.
With immense curiosity surrounding TV’s No.1 comedian’s
return, we were surprised to see that the show barely made it to the Top 10.
However, Week 14’s ratings are proof that the first
episode was largely rejected which is why most didn’t tune in for second. For,
in the week in question (March 31-April 6), the show has dropped to a dismal
No. 25! Saturday (March 31) had Abhay Deol and Patralekha as guests,
while Sunday (April 1) saw no stars make an appearance.
You may also notice that with every episode, Family Time
With Kapil Sharma’s ratings have only fallen.

the rough track which is on a rough track with rumours of Family Time With
Kapil Sharma going off-air doing the rounds.

Strangely, Sony has been mysteriously silent and released
no official statement. Yesterday, speculations were rife that the show has been
suspended for this month. It would be great if Sony clarifies and we would also
like Kapil to bounce back and regale audiences.

Meanwhile, Kundali Bhagya retained its numero uno spot.
However, Kumkum Bhagya, which comes in a close second more often than not,

Furthermore, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah clinched the
4th spot and Shakti-Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki was the 5th most-watched
show this time around.

On the other hand, Ishq Subhan Allah, which missed a spot
in the Top 10 the last two weeks made a comeback and placed itself at No.9.
Will it be able to sustain hereafter? Time will tell.
