HIT OR FLOP: Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Patiala Babes, Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala, Kumkum Bhagya?
That time of the week again when closed door meetings happen and tempers rise. A few hi-fives too happen. So let's take you straight to who might have celebrated and who may have not
Well, Week 16 was not a great week for Ekta Kapoor. But trust me, the TV Czarina might get it all right in the next week itself. You know she doesn't take defeat easily. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. So yeah, Balaji Telefilms' serials have been dented a bit- Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 gone from 6 to 8, Kumkum Bhagya from `1 to 2 and Naagin 3 from 3 to 7, not to forget Kundali Bhagya which has slipped from 5 to 6.
I am peeved to not see Patiala Babes and Ladies Special- both on Sony- not doing well. Beyhadh from Sony 2 didn't rock, it had fairly good substance. Anyway, Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has shot up from 7 to 5. Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi can go out on a movie date to celebrate.
Not excited to see Super Dancer 3 jump from 8 to 3. Too much of risk to kids' life and limb was not discouraged in the earlier stages, though now it's better and concentrating more on dance- but I still won't give it a clean chit.
Tujhse Hai Raabta and Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega remain on 9 and 10 respectively- their same positions of Week 15.
And hey, what happened to Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala? why did it slip from 2 to 4? Just a couple of weeks ago, it occupied the Numero Uno slot.
And sad to see, Asit Modi's Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah out of the Top 10 coveted list. Dayaben, where are you? And Sonu, tum bhi!
