Zee Is No 1; Beats Star Plus, Colors & Sony
This is what the ratings of Week 38 (September 16-22) say loud and clear. Zee TV dominated the leader board this time, while Star Plus, Colors and Sony lagged behind

Week 38 (September 16-22) has moved Zee TV to the top of the GEC ratings, leaving behind Sony, Star Plus and Colors.
Kumkum Bhagya and its spin-off Kundali Bhagya stood at No. 2 and 3 respectively in the TRPs chart with wonderful numbers, propelling Zee to the top.

Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati quiz show retained its numero uno position this week when it comes to individual TRPs but we believe quite a few shows let down Sony, and the channel in question which stood at No. 2 in Week 37 dropped to No. 4 this week.

Khatron Ke Khiladi and Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki occupied the 4th and 5th spot in the TRPs race. The ratings of the former come as a surprise to us since the dare-game finale was aired in Week 38 and hence we were expecting it to perform better.

To talks more about the GEC ratings, Star Plus was at No. 2 and Colors at No. 3.
The TV show which showed a massive drop was Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

The popular Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has lost its spot in the Top 10! For several weeks now, the comedy show has managed to be amongst the most-watched shows on Indian television. However, this week it had to settle for the 14th position! Is the news of Dayaben's absence (she will soon be out on maternity leave) responsible for the fall?
