In an exclusive conversation with SpotboyE.com, Ritvik Arora and Kaveri Priyam who are seen playing the characters of Kunal and Kuhu spoke to their heart’s content about the current marriage sequence on the show Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke
Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke starring Shaheer Sheikh, Rhea Sharma, Ritvik Arora and Kaveri Priyam in lead roles is keeping the viewers hooked on to their screens thanks to a marriage sequence. Producer Rajan Shahi's shows are known for their larger-than-life marriage sequences and drama. Something similar is happening in the show where Kunal has gotten married to Kuhu. TV actors Ritvik Arora and Kaveri Priyam who are essaying the roles of Kunal and Kuhu on the show got candid with us on the whole marriage drama. Read On:
Ritvik, tell us about the whole marriage sequence that fans will get to experience on the show?
Ritvik Arora: The sequence is all about how Kunal has to face the consequences of blindly trusting his mother (Meenakshi Rajvansh) in planning against Abir and Mishti. As Kunal has a soft spot for Kuhu but is sure that he doesn't love her enough to get married.
Fans are going gaga over your looks as the bride and groom. How did you take it?
Kaveri Priyam: It’s every girl’s dream to imagine herself how she would look on her wedding day. Kuhu who is so excited about her marriage is finally getting to live her dream. And with this sequence, at least I know how I would look. Talking about my character Kuhu as a bride, she is looking extremely pretty.
Your chemistry as a couple is being loved by fans…
Ritvik Arora: Yes it is and it definitely feels great as we have a very different kind of chemistry. I for one, haven't seen this type of chemistry anywhere on the screen. Usually, boy loves girl, the girl realizes she loves the boy, but here the boy is being forced to be with a girl he is unsure about while the girl has fallen head over heels for him. It's very interesting, and it makes you want to know what will happen next.
Kaveri Priyam: For me Kuhu and Kunal or I should also say #KuKu together look very cute as a couple. It’s very endearing actually, Kuhu who is very cute and innocent and Kunal who is very practical and not very emotional, a headstrong person. So they make a good match. I am also waiting to see what will happen when Kunal will start falling in love with Kuhu.
What’s your take on marriage in real life?

Ritvik Arora: Marriage is the most beautiful commitment anyone can gift their partner. It requires grit, determination, and sacrifice. So hats off to everyone who takes up this responsibility for their loved ones.
Kaveri Priyam: I second his thoughts. As I also feel marriage is a very beautiful bond wherein two people decide to spend and share their entire life together. I think it is heavenly as well because it’s so uncanny of two people meeting and all of a sudden falling in love so much that they decide to spend their entire lives with each other.
Tell us about your off screen bonding on the sets?
Ritvik Arora: We are pretty chilled around each other. Laughing, cracking jokes and complimenting each other for our good performances or suggesting things is what we do all the time. In real life also, Kaveri is very much similar to Kuhu, pumped on energy and always keeping the chatterbox to work. However, she is much mature in real life knowing how a person is and is definitely less naive and gullible than Kuhu.
Kaveri Priyam: He is younger to me but if I talk about the experience, then his level of maturity is more than mine. So that way, we gel very well because he acts elder to me. He behaves like someone who is elder and more mature and guides and tells me about things which I don’t know about this industry, so it’s a very good bond.
