India's right-arm fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah grabbed the headlines a few days ago after he pulled out of the fourth Test against England citing a ‘personal reason’. Social media was abuzz with speculations about his wedding. While the cricketer didn’t confirm as such, a report in Zee Hindustan claimed that he will be tying the knot with sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan in Goa. Now, Jasprit Bumrah married Sanjana Ganesan in an intimate ceremony, and the cricketer shared lovely pictures from the wedding.

Jasprit Bumrah shared two beautiful pictures from his wedding with Sanjana, and penned an equally beautiful caption that read, ““Love, if it finds you worthy, directs your course.” Steered by love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you. Jasprit & Sanjana.” Soon, congratulatory messages started pouring in for the newly married couple.

Hardik Pandya took to his Twitter and wrote, “Congratulations @Jaspritbumrah93 @SanjanaGanesan Wishing you a healthy and happy married life,” while KL Rahul dropped a comment on Jasprit’s Instagram post while congratulating Jasprit and Sanjana. Check out the pictures below:

As per reports, the wedding was attended by a limited number of people owing to the restrictions during the Coronavirus pandemic. Sanjana Ganesan is a popular face among sports fans and is known for anchoring for Star Sports. She has been hosting shows for IPL, ICC, Cricket World Cup, Pro Badminton League. She is also a Miss India 2014 finalist.
