Meghan Markle’s 'Suits' Father Wendell Pierce Had Advised Her On ‘THIS’ Before She Tied The Knot With Prince Harry

Former actress and current Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle life has changed a lot after she tied the knot to Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex in 2018. One of her co-stars of her last TV show Suits, actor Wendell Pierce recalled of the advice given to Meghan in their last meeting before she bid good bye to her acting career, after taking the plunge. The actor has now revealed to a leading daily of what he had advised the actress during the final leg of their TV show.
According to a report in The Guardian, the actor was heard quoting irrespective of her life undergoing tremendous change after marrying a royal, she shall always have a friend in him. The actor played Robert Zane in Suits and Meghan’s onscreen father. Revealing furthermore he also shared of saving Meghan from the paps. The former actress had once after shooting for her onscreen engagement was about to step out of the car, sporting the ring but luckily Wendell saved her by reminding her to take off the ring, which would have sent the paps in a tizzy. He said, “Listen, your world is going to be forever changed, and no matter where you are, you can always know that you have a friend in me. That was the last time I got to speak to her and it was great.”
“We were shooting one day, before the engagement. In the show she was engaged, and she had a ring on. We were about to get out of the car and I said: ‘Don’t get out. Give us the ring. There’s a paparazzo down the street. If a photograph got out with you with a ring on it, it would explode all over the world,” he added further.
In the recent past Wendell had stood like a wall for Meghan when she fell prey to the negative press write ups.
