Met Gala 2023 was a star-studded affair with many Hollywood personalities as well as Indian celebs gracing the prestigious fashion gala. Notably, Ambani’s bahu Shloka Mehta's sister, Diya Mehta Jatia, who is a fashion consultant and influencer made her debut at the fashion event. Post the event, she shared a hilarious video, revealing the reality of wearing heavy designer outfits. Diya shared a video telling how she and Isha Ambani faced trouble while climbing Stairs in heavy gown outfits.

Taking To her Instagram handle, she shared a video of them struggling to climb the stairs and wrote in the caption, “Trying not to trip. But at least we have each other to hold on to.” In the clip, both Isha and Divya were seen supporting each other as they tried not to trip while climbing stairs with so many cameras.  For the event, both the ladies were dressed to kill and looked drop-dead gorgeous. Diya made sure to stick to her roots at the international platform. She wore a black and emerald green-hued gown by designer Prabal Gurung and complimented her look with Radha-Krishna hair accessory, black eyeliner, nude lipstick, and defined brows. On the other hand, Isha Ambani, wife of Anand Piramal made heads turn in a beautiful black saree gown that featured a sheer cape and Kaftan-like frontal with one-shouldered detail. Isha’s dress was adorned with crystals and diamonds to pay tribute to the legendary late designer Karl Lagerfeld. She also carried a unique Doll Bag, worth Rs 24 Lakh at the event.

Met Gala 2023 was held on 1 May in New York at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and honored the designer with the theme “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.”
