Just a few days ago, F.R.I.E.N.D.S stars David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston, and Lisa Kudrow shared a glimpse of the highly-anticipated episode of FRIENDS Reunion. The loyal fans of the show couldn’t keep calm as they expressed their excitement on social media. In fact, the iconic sitcom was trending on Twitter the entire time. The digital platform was even flooded with some FRIENDS pictures, videos and memes. Well, taking the advantage of the hype and craze, Mumbai police also joins the trends.
Going by their latest post, it looks like Mumbai Police are heavily inspired by FRIENDS Reunion as they took a little inspiration from them to share an advisory post amid the COVID-19 crisis. Sharing the official photo of the reunion, they said that people can reunite with ‘friends’ after the final season of COVID-19. Making our misery a little better and adding some pun, they said that till then online meet-ups will ‘be there for you’. Smooth, right? LoL. The post’s caption read, “'Reunite' with your F.R.I.E.N.D.S - but only after the final season of #COVID19 please? Till then, online meet-ups will ‘be there for you’ #FriendsForever #FriendsOfSafety #takingoncorona #friendsreunion.”
Fans are mighty impressed with the Mumbai Police's humourous advisory post and found the PR skills on point. One user commented, “this admin deserves award” while another one said, “Mumbai police got some great humour” There was one more who called, “admin Mumbai police is dope”.
Meanwhile, the FRIENDS Reunion episode will premiere on May 27th on HBO Max. Stars like David Beckham, Reese Witherspoon, Cindy Crawford, Lady Gaga, BTS, Mindy Kaling, Kit Harington and many others would be making a guest appearance in the episode.
